Hanging Flower Earrings with Biwa Pearls and Keum-Boo, Original Drawing
A Biwa pearl is suspended under a domed floral design with 24k fused gold keum-boo detail. The floral pattern is from an original sketch I drew freehand and etched onto a pattern plate. I have given the silver a dark patina to contrast with the gold.
• These earrings hang about 2 3/4" long as measured from the tops of the ear hooks.
• The Biwa pearls (also called stick pearls) are about 17mm x 5.5mm. They are suspended using 14k gold fill wire.
