Scarab and Sunflower Earrings with Amethyst and Keum-Boo
The fronts of these earrings have a large faceted amethyst, several silver balls, and a scarab design covered with 24k fused gold keum-boo. The backs have a sunflower design. I have given the silver a dark patina and a matte finish to contrast with the shiny gold.
• These earrings hang about 2 1/4" long as measured from the tops of the ear hooks and are about 1/2" wide.
• The faceted amethysts are about 5mm in diameter.
